Kahuna & Lore was born from waves & whispers; from family, memory, and magic.
My grandfather, Wally, was known as the “Big Kahuna” of Avalon Beach — a legend of the waves and a spirit of adventure. Growing up, my family competed to be the next great bodyboarder, chasing stories written in saltwater and sunshine.
Lore comes from my love of fairytales and the stories from my grandmother. Her voice shapes the way I see the world — full of wonder, meaning, and hidden magic in everyday moments. I learned to see life not just as it is, but as a story unfolding.
Together, Kahuna & Lore is the heart of my work: capturing real moments with the feeling of a legend, the warmth of family, and the magic of a story that deserves to live forever.
